The clutch settings on the hammer drill are precise enough for driving into studs without stripping, and the impact driver easily sank 3-inch lag bolts into pressure-treated lumber. For a 12V system, the 5.0Ah battery kept both tools running through a full afternoon of heavy use without needing a recharge.
This little drill surprised me — for a 12V it handled driving 3-inch deck screws into pressure-treated pine without bogging down. The impact driver is noticeably compact, making it easy to maneuver in tight spots, and the battery lasts through a full afternoon of work.
Battery life on the 5.0Ah High Output pack is excellent — I drilled maybe 40 holes in a stud wall and still had plenty of juice left. The brushless motor on the driver is noticeably punchier than my old brushed model.
Was pleasantly surprised by how much torque that little impact driver has—driving 3-inch screws into pressure-treated lumber felt effortless. The brushless motor runs smooth and the compact size made it easy to work in tight spots under the sink. Battery life seems solid so far with the 5.0Ah pack included.
Picked this up on the factory clearance sale, and the brushless motor in the drill has way more torque than I expected for a 12V tool. The 5.0Ah battery lasts through a whole afternoon of driving lag bolts without needing a recharge.
The impact driver drives screws faster than my old one, and the 5.0Ah battery lasts through a whole day of cabinet work. I was surprised how compact the drill is working in tight spaces.
The hammer drill has more than enough torque for driving into studs, and the compact size lets me get into tight cabinet spaces easily. Impact driver is snappy and quiet, and the 5.0 battery seems to last all day on a single charge.
Bought this combo for the clearance price and was surprised the 5.0Ah battery actually lasts through a full day of driving deck screws. The impact driver zips through lag bolts without any noticeable strain.
Grabbed this for the clearance price and was surprised how much torque the hammer drill has for a 12V tool. The impact driver drives screws faster than I expected. Really happy with the runtime from the 5.0Ah battery.
Picked this up during the clearance sale and the combo’s brushless motor really tears through tough screws in treated lumber without bogging down. The impact driver is impressively compact, fitting into a cramped space behind the sink where my old drill couldn’t reach. Only minor gripe is the battery indicator light could be a bit brighter, but the runtime is solid for a full day of work.
