Cut through a dozen 2-inch steel brackets yesterday and the Tough Neck held up perfectly, no snapped tangs at all. These blades just keep chewing instead of dulling out like my old ones did.

Finally got around to testing these on some heavy-duty angle iron, and the Tough Neck feature really does prevent the blade from snapping at the tang like cheaper ones do. They cut through about fifteen feet of thick metal before I needed to swap, which is way better than I expected.

Cut through a half-inch steel plate in under two minutes without any blade wobble or breakage — that Tough Neck design really does prevent tang failure. These are the first blades I’ve used that last through multiple heavy cuts on thick metal without dulling.
