Been drilling into hardened steel brackets all week and the QUAD EDGE tip stays sharp way longer than my old bits. Cobalt really does make a difference on tough materials.
Bought these for some HVAC sheet metal work and the QUAD EDGE tip bit into the steel without any wandering at all. The cobalt finish seems tough, and the case keeps everything organized.
I’ve been drilling into stainless steel all week and the QUAD EDGE tip on these bits still bites in cleanly without wandering. The cobalt material seems to handle the heat way better than my old set.
Got through a stack of 1/4-inch steel plate on my truck frame and the cobalt bits barely showed any wear, the QUAD EDGE tip really locks in without walking. The indexing case keeps everything organized too, which saves me from digging through a drawer.
Used these to drill into stainless steel brackets, and the cobalt alloy held up way better than my old bits. The quad edge tip started cleanly without wandering, which saved me from having to re-drill a hole.
The quad edge tip cut through some tough hardened steel I had to drill for a railing repair with zero wandering. I’ve put them through about a dozen holes so far and they still look brand new.
Used these on some 1/4" stainless steel brackets and the cobalt really made the difference—cut clean without wandering. The case keeps everything organized, though I wish it had a bit more labeling for the smaller bits. Still, for the clearance price this set is a steal.
The Quad Edge tip grabbed immediately on my first hole through stainless steel, no walking or center punch needed. I’ve already used three different sizes and they all cut cleanly without any chatter.
Punched through some stubborn 1/4-inch stainless steel with the RED HELIX bits yesterday and they stayed sharp the whole way. The cobalt material really makes a difference in hard metals compared to standard HSS sets I've used before.
The Quad Edge tip started cutting through a hardened steel bracket without any wobble—something my old set could never do. These cobalt bits stay sharp noticeably longer than the standard ones I've used before.
