Drilled about forty 3/4" holes through rebar-laced concrete today and it never bogged down once. The SDS-Max chuck holds bits rock-solid, and the vibration control is way better than my old hammer.

Broke through a reinforced concrete wall in about half the time my old hammer took, and the SDS-Max chuck held the bit rock-solid the whole way. For a clearance price, this thing feels like it’ll outlast me.

I’ve been running it hard on a stubborn concrete demo job, and the 1-9/16-inch capacity makes quick work of holes that used to take forever. The SDS-Max chuck locks bits in solidly, and even after several hours, the vibration isn’t as punishing as my old hammer.
