Needed something to get at a stubborn bolt in the engine bay, and the right angle head and compact 12V body made it possible without pulling the motor. Even with one hand, the brushless motor delivered plenty of torque to break it loose.
Was able to wedge this into a tight engine bay where my standard impact wouldn't fit, and it still snapped off the rusted bolts without any issue. The friction ring holds sockets securely, which saved me from dropping one into the abyss.
