These bits punched through the concrete in my basement wall with far less effort than my old set. The carbide tip seems genuinely tough, and they haven't chipped after a dozen holes.
Drilled through reinforced concrete for the first time yesterday and the carbide tip didn't chip at all—the multi-faceted insert really seems to hold up. These bits cut smooth and fast in my rotary hammer.
I was a little skeptical about the carbide tip holding up, but after driving a dozen holes into reinforced concrete block, the cutting edge still looks brand new. The dust extraction slot on the side actually works well, keeping the hole clear as I drill.
These bits chew through the masonry in my old basement walls like butter, and the SDS shank stays locked tight no matter how much I lean on it. Really glad I grabbed a set while they were clearing them out.
Drilled into reinforced concrete for the first time today and the 2-cutter design really makes a difference—the bit stayed cool even after multiple holes. The 5-piece set covers the sizes I use most for anchor installs. Already ordered a second set for my work trailer.
The carbide tip on the ¾-inch bit chewed through a concrete lintel without any wobble, which was a huge relief. I’d been dreading that job with my old bits. Only wish it came in a hard case instead of the plastic sleeve.
First hole I drilled with the ½-inch bit went through old concrete like butter, and the carbide tip still looks brand new. This set handled rebar without chipping, which my old bits definitely struggled with.
I’ve been using this set to drill into old concrete block, and the 2-cutter design really keeps the bit from wandering off center. It’s nice that the carbide tip seems tougher than the last set I had, so I’m not replacing one after a few uses.
These punched through the reinforced concrete in my basement wall without even slowing down. The two-cutter design really does seem to clear the dust better than my old bits, and the set covers all the sizes I typically need.
I was skeptical about carbide bits after some bad experiences, but the 2-cutter design on these really slices through brick and block cleanly without wandering. Finish on the holes is surprisingly smooth, which saves me patching time.
