Bored holes in a stainless bracket with zero chatter, and the red helix design kept the shavings from jamming up like my old bits do. Still sharp after a dozen uses, which says a lot for a half-inch bit at this price.

The cobalt edge held up way better than my old bits after boring into a stainless bracket—no smoking or glazing at all. Shank’s got a nice grip in the chuck too, feels solid for a 1/2-inch, and the red helix actually seemed to clear chips faster.
