Was a bit skeptical about the power from a 12V, but this thing ripped through my metal brackets without bogging down once. The 18-inch length gives you great reach into tight spots, and the brushless motor really keeps the battery alive longer than I expected.
Finally, a cordless bandfile that actually fits in tight spots — the 1/2 x 18 belt reaches where my angle grinder never could. Battery life is decent for the size, though I wish the tool came with a case. Still, it’s saved me hours on metal fab work.
The balance on this bandfile makes one-handed work a breeze, and the variable speed trigger gives great control for shaping metal. It's light enough to use all day without fatigue.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this brushless motor handles stainless steel; it barely bogs down even with moderate pressure.
Took a gamble on this clearance bandfile and I’m glad I did—the brushless motor keeps the power consistent even when I’m working in tight spots. The 1/2-inch belt fits perfectly for smoothing out welds on small brackets without bogging down. Only wish it came with a case, but for the price I can’t complain.
For being so compact, this bandfile really rips through metal burrs and tight spots my angle grinder can't reach—the 18-inch length gives just the right reach without feeling clumsy. The tool-only price was a steal for the build quality.
I was a little skeptical about the battery life on a 12V tool, but this bandfile chewed through a whole metal railing project without needing a recharge. The 18-inch reach let me get into those tight corners under the porch railing better than my old file could.
This little bandfile fits perfectly in tight spots my other tools can’t reach, and the variable speed trigger gives me great control for smoothing welds. Battery life has been solid running the 2.0Ah pack.
I was skeptical about battery life on a 12V tool, but this bandfile ran through a dozen stainless welds on one charge without slowing down. The brushless motor gives it surprising torque for something so compact.
Picked this up for some tight sanding jobs on a custom knife project, and the 18-inch reach gets exactly where my other tools can't. The variable-speed trigger gives me precise control on aluminum without clogging the belt.
